The Kokatahi Band travels widely and in years gone by has taken trips to Australia and the North Island, and even today regularly travels around the South Island when invited to special events such as A&P Shows, Waitangi Day Picnics, openings, Anniversaries, Weddings, Birthdays and Funerals. 

The 60^th Anniversary of NAC was celebrated with the assistance  of the band at Hokitika Airport, where all Band members received commemorative badges.  

Regular appearances at Wildfoods Festivals and Kumara & Westland Races, have led to a wide support base of fans some of whom travel from overseas just to hear the Band play. 

Billy Connolly featured the Band on his last tour of New Zealand promoting them to the rest of the world as part of "Billy Connolly's World Tour of New Zealand", available on DVD from the BBC.
